Carlton Daniel aka DUB2DUB:

The Music:

I've always been involved in music, started off as a joint sound owner (Yardman Sound System) along with my younger brother Christopher Wrigley Daniel in 1980, worked as a DJ/MC for Dread Broadcasting Corporation (DBC) The 1st reggae pirate station in England, toured England playing Reggae music supporting live reggae bands such as Augustus Pablo, Jnr Delgado, Mighty Diamonds, Freddie McGregor, Yellowman , Taxi Gang the list goes on. Working alongside such Reggae Greats influenced me alot, it was a good learning process and valid experience.

My reggae influences to many to list, the main ones are Jah Shaka , I discovered dub! Freddie McGregor, I discovered Vocal and Harmony Arrangements (checkout studio 1 releases) Jackie Mittoo, I discovered musical finesse and Michael Rose, I discovered Lyrics.

In 1997 decided to go into music production fulltime, as a professional DJ playing the hits the people wanted I felt it gave me a edge, I feel we can produce good tunes too. Wrigleys Digital Studio was formed, a collective of musicians and producers (got to BIG UP) Nya Azania, Carlton Eglington, Albert Thomas, Winston Nelson, Jerry & Jan, Susan Daniel and Nang for assistance and support.
At this present time I'm working on a dub album, a community based project album (for refugee week June 2003) and upgrading the studio .
