Jah Warrior feat Prince Alla THE MUSIC: Amongst the UK artists to have appeared on the label are Naphtali, Tena Stelin, Culture Freeman, King General, Tony Roots, Afrikan Simba, Talawa, Danny Vibes and Hughie Izachaar. Jamaican artists produced by Jah Warrior include Dillinger, U Brown, Trinity, Ranking Joe, Joseph Cotton, Earl 16, Horace Andy, Alton Ellis, Peter Broggs, Rod Taylor, Jah Mason, Lutan Fyah, Singer Blue, Anthony Johnson, Prezident Brown, Winston McAnuff and Prince Alla, who is also featured on this track. Taken from the "More Love" sessions (Jah Warrior's second album with Prince Alla), the track was mixed by Dougie Wardrop at Conscious Sounds studio in London and features a combination of live and digital sounds. Horns are by the Crispy Horns Section, guitar by Jerry Lyons who works frequently with The Twinkle Brothers & Jah Shaka. Percussion courtesy of Jonah Dan, a frequent collaborator with The Disciples. Amongst the equipment used to mix this track is a genuine 25 year old analogue spring reverb. Prince Alla has a career in reggae spanning 30 years, with a string of classic tunes for Jamaican producers like Tappa Zukie, Joe Gibbs & Bertram Brown of the Freedom Sounds label. Blood and Fire Records have issued two retrospective compilations of his work. Jah Warrior productions have also appeared on the
