Part 2
Producer Profile
Track 5: RESCUE SERVICE
A lynch pin in York based crew New Flesh for Old, Part 2 and the crew originally put out their own 12" singles then hooked up with Jazz Fudge for a couple of releases until Big Dadda (a subsidiary of Ninja Tune) took an interest. Allowing this long time B-boy to display his talents, they released 'Nanotech Pilots' featuring Juice Aleem.
Voted as one of the UK's top five Hip-Hop producers (Hip-Hop Connection) Part 2 has a style that has been called 'different'. Different in a way that UK Rap/Hip-Hop can be, since it lacks the strong market pressures that govern success in the states. Puff Daddy is the best thing that's happened to UK Hip-Hop in years. Everyone sees that the American mainstream is stagnant so they look elsewhere.

Part 2 as well as his works as part of the Dub Funk Association, records for the UK Hip- Hop collective New Flesh for Old. Their recordings can be found on the Big Dada record label.
