Heavy duty skeletal dub reggae from long serving UK crew the Dub Funk Association and probably their best effort to date too!
The title sums up the 'dread' nature of the sound, both in forms of the undiluted reggae backbone and the stripped down, dark atmospherics of aptly named tunes like "Heavyweight Situation". As much about what's left out as the super-dubbed and echoing elements left in. The flavour may be roots but the overall effect is always ultra futuristic.
